TREATMENT
BROW TINT AND LAMINATION
Brow lamination and tint is a chemical treatment that involves perming eyebrows to enhance their shape and colour:
Brow lamination:
In this two-step process, a cream breaks down the bonds in the brow hairs so they can be manipulated into a new position. The result is straighter, fuller, and fluffier brows that can last 4–8 weeks. This treatment can help with unruly brow hairs, gaps, or overplucking. Some say it’s similar to a lash lift or soap brows.
Brow tint:
This step adds colour to the brows to create a bolder look. Some salons offer henna tinting after lamination to fill in sparse areas. The entire process can take about an hour or less. To maintain the results, you should avoid exfoliating and anti-aging skincare around the brow area for three days before and after the treatment. You may also need to repeat the process every couple of months.
Brow lamination is a non-invasive beauty treatment done in-salon that essentially involves restructuring brow hairs to keep them in a desired shape. That means that I could conceivably find myself on a desert island with my face slathered in tinted moisturiser and with brushed-up brows, without needing to take brow gel.
