YOUR SKIN AFTER A PHIBRIGHT MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT
After the procedure, the skin will be red and flushed on appearance in a similar way to a moderate sunburn. The client may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on the area being treated. This will diminish greatly after a few hours following the treatment and within the next 24 hours the skin will be completely healed. Three (3) days post treatment, most visible erythema (sunburn appearance) will be absolved.
WHAT ARE THE PHIBRIGHT SERUMS AND HOW THEY WORK?
Microneedling has become a mainstream procedure for many aesthetic practitioners. Mechanical remodelling of the skin is now possible using a Microneedling device that penetrates at the artificial depth, depending on skin condition, in order to reach the dermis and stimulate production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. This complex restores a perfect and even skin tone by blocking the process of Melanogenesis at several levels, thus controlling skin darkening and reducing Hyperpigmentation. It also protects the skin and has a soothing effect, reducing redness. PHIBRIGHT TREATMENT DETAILS
After a thorough client consultation, a skin diagnosis is made, based on: photo type, skin type, skin conditions, presence of hyperpigmentation, presence of sebum and impurities on the skin, presence of scars, depth of wrinkles, visible dark circles, factors that affect the skin condition and lifestyle of the client. We put all gathered information about the client’s skin into the PhiBright app and we get an extremely precise calculation, as well as the quantity of the serum that has to be applied and combined so that we can get the best and appropriate results.
During the treatment, a specially designed and patented Phi Bright serum with a high concentration of active ingredients is applied to the skin surface, which also allows the module with needles to slide and then is absorbed into the skin.
This method is proven to improve microcirculation and self-nutrition of skin cells and thus the overall skin appearance.

Haberlea Rhodopensis Leaf Extract provides collagen production and increases elasticity, perfectly designed to treat dark eye circles.
Plant extracts together with Allantonin regenerate the skin and treat scars, while a special amino acid mineral complex reduces signs of skin ageing.
Another serum moisturises and nourishes the skin, reduces redness (Rosacea) and evens out the skin tone. Furthermore, the various serums can be used to treat hyperpigmentation, acne scars, dryness, irritated skin, freckles, skin spots or large pores. There are serums for normal, dry, oily, mature, sensitive or combination skin.
PHIBRIGHT ADVANTAGES
Treatment results include: skin hydration, increased skin tone and smoothness. Wrinkles are less visible and skin looks younger looking. You should see a gradual reduction in pigmentation, enlarged pores, acne scars, stretch marks and scars.
The treatments are done in a series and there are visible results after each treatment. The recommendation is to do it in series from 3 to 6 treatments, with 2-4 weeks gap between each of them. What is MICRONEEDLING?
Microneedling or collagen induction therapy is a minimally invasive, bio-stimulation method performed through the use of a Needle pen. The length of the needles used is chosen depending on the type of skin issue and the area of skin that requires treatment (face, neck, décolleté, etc.). During treatment, microneedles penetrate into the deeper layer of the skin (dermis) creating micro points which although they do not damage the skin, they nonetheless cause our skin to react to the punctures of the microneedles. The treatment is very hygienic because the needles are not cleaned after treatment, rather, they are discarded. This treatment stimulates the natural regenerative skin rejuvenation process, with benefits that are long lasting. HOW DO MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS WORK?
As previously mentioned, the Microneedling treatment is the controlled use of microneedles to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, resulting in the effective intake of specialised, innovative cocktails and serums, patented by Phiacademy. Our skin has a natural outer barrier that protects us from external factors. The goal of the treatment is to penetrate this barrier so that vital micronutrients can perforate deeper into the skin and act on its regeneration.
This is why the main goal is to penetrate these layers of skin tissue where problems arise and then become visible on the surface layer. Microneedling is a completely safe way of perforating this barrier by creating micro points on the skin which then allow for the effective intake of the active substances contained in cocktails into the deeper layer of the skin, where they are needed. Each ‘micro injury’ to the skin created by the puncture of a microneedle allows for the transepidermal application of substances directly into the dermis, thereby activating the skin.
It is important to mention that the results are visible immediately after the first treatment – the skin’s appearance is fresher, smoother, tighter but the regeneration process itself continues long after the treatment is over. ARE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR MICRONEEDLING?
Microneedling treatment is completely safe and adaptable to all skin types, from normal to dry, and oily to combination. It is also suitable for all skin tones and both genders. There are very few exceptions when it comes to Microneedling treatment. It is not recommended that you undergo Microneedling if you suffer from any of the following:
- Inflamed acne
- Lupus
- Erysipelas (St. Anthony’s Fire)
- Skin cancer (basal cell, squamous cell, melanoma)
- Keloid scars
- Psoriasis
If you are taking Accutane (you may undergo Microneedling treatment 6 months after completing therapy). Treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing (not because it would be damaging, but because there are no available quality clinical trials). Consult your dermatologist or physician if you are on anticoagulants, taking ibuprofen or any other medication.
This treatment may be performed in combination with Botox and hyaluronic acid treatments, but with at least a month interval between treatments. Microneedling treatment is not only effective in cases when there are serious skin issues. It is exceptionally effective when skin loses its elasticity, when its level of hydration begins to diminish or when you simply want that ‘health glow’ look restored – whenever you need to maintain that look of cared for and healthy skin. HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU GET MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT?
The number and frequency of treatments depends on the condition of the skin, the client’s age and the type of results the client wishes to achieve. It is important to emphasise that the effects are better if treatments are repeated in a series, with 2-to-3 week breaks in between.
RECOMMENDED AFTERCARE:
Do not clean your face for 12 hours to allow all the benefits of the serums to absorb completely.
- No exposure to direct sunlight for 7 days minimum. Wear a hat and apply sun factor protection after 5 days
- No sunbeds for a minimum of 15 days
- For 5 days: no physical exercise, sauna, swimming both indoor and outdoor.
- No Botox for 4 weeks.
- Return for the second treatment of a course in 4 weeks’ time.
- No Botox for 4 weeks.
- Redness (erythema) should go after 1-3 days.
