PHIBROWS MICROBLADING

WHY PHIBROWS MICROBLADING?

  • Because every hair on the missing part of your eyebrow is drawn individually, which makes the eyebrows look as natural as possible.
  • Because you are fed up with filling up your eyebrows with a pencil every day.
  • Because you want to look natural and put together even when you wake up, relax on holidays or exercise.
  • Because the final look is adapted to your hair colour, skin tone and the direction of your eyebrow hair growth.
  • Because your face will look more youthful and brighter while you will be more confident.

WHAT IS PHIBROWS MICROBLADING?

PhiBrows is a manual, semi-permanent microblading technique for hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing, in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to facial morphology using the Golden Ratio (from the Greek number Phi, 1.618). PhiBrows microblading is the ideal brow treatment for people who struggle to grow hair on their brows, suffer from sparse, over-plucked, over-waxed, or thinning eyebrows, or those who simply want fabulous brows all year round with little to no maintenance. The technique is intended for anyone who wants to cover scars and gaps, define shape, create an arch, and fill in the eyebrows.

PhiBrows pigments are tested and improved on multiple occasions to ensure the highest quality. Any dangerous heavy metals found in most permanent makeup pigments are removed from ours, so the colour stays and does not change its tone to red or green, for example. Ultra-fine deposits of these high-quality tattoo pigments are implanted into the skin to make very fine incisions. Don’t be alarmed by the word ‘incision’—most clients don’t feel a thing, and the procedure is almost completely pain-free.

For the procedure and treatment to be successfully performed, the skin must not be damaged or suffering from any existing skin conditions such as eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, acne, pimples, or any damage in the eyebrow area. If your skin is suffering from damage or any of these conditions, PhiTopic cream or an alternative can be used to eliminate any problems prior to the procedure, so the treatment can be performed.

HOW LONG DOES PHIBROWS MICROBLADING LAST?

Once your Microblading treatment and top up have been completed, the brow pigment can last for up to 3-5 years. How long the results will last, however, depends on elements such as skin type, age, complexion and skincare. At the very minimum, your new brows should last for 12 months, unless the client has a very oily skin. In cases with really Oily skin it is recommended to either not proceed with the treatment or regularly do top ups (retouch), as the pigment cannot last as much. Usually, people with such skin type go with PhiBrows POWDER. For the best results with PhiBrows microblading, I would highly recommend that, upon your second top-up/touch-up session from the initial treatment date, you have your pigment removed and create brand new brows. This is because an accumulation of pigment is not good for the perfect look of your brows and your skin’s appearance.

WHAT IS A TOP UP/RETOUCH?

After a client has their initial microblading treatment, a ‘top-up’ is required approximately 4-6 weeks from the date of the procedure. This top-up is a critical part of the treatment. In essence, it is the second and final phase of any successful treatment. A top-up is required because up to 15% of hand-drawn strokes can fade and/or disappear in the days and weeks following the initial treatment.

During the first week, the colour pigment will appear darker. This is completely normal! The colour will fade on its own and may reduce by up to 50% as the skin heals. The healing process itself takes around 28 days, which is why we wait 4-6 weeks to complete a top-up. The aim of the top-up is to replace any pigment and colouration lost during the healing process. It is absolutely imperative for a top-up procedure to be performed in order for the entire microblading treatment to be a complete success.

HOW LONG IS THE HEALING PROCESS?

The healing process after your main Microblading treatment usually takes about 28 days. Skin around the areas of both brows will be red (irritated) immediately after treatment, and it’s likely that you’ll notice some light scabbing in the days after the procedure. Both the redness and scabbing are completely normal, is an important part of the healing process – and is absolutely not something you need to worry about.

If you have previous semi-permanent or permanent makeup, you should book a consultation to evaluate the current status of your brows, after which a plan of action will be created.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICROBLADING PHI BROWS, COMBINATION BROWS, POWDER BROWS, OMBRE BROWS AND LATIN BROWS?

Normal, Dry Skin  The most suitable technique for this type of skin is microblading. PhiBrows microblading is a hyper-realistic technique of manually drawing eyebrows using a microblade. PhiBrows is one of the most popular beauty treatments today, thanks to the range of benefits it provides to clients. Our eyebrows are also a powerful tool in nonverbal communication. With their colour, shape, and position on the face, our eyebrows give a positive and strong character to the person who wears them. In addition to character, properly drawn eyebrows make a person undoubtedly more attractive. In cases where shading needs to be performed, the technique is also known as Combination Brows (microblading and shading).

For women with slightly more oily skin, the Latin Brows and Ombre Brows techniques are ideal for achieving a more dramatic, makeup look without the need to apply makeup every day. Dry and normal skin are also suitable for this technique. The naturalness of the microblading technique, where strokes are drawn in the natural direction of hair growth, is combined with the popular ‘powder effect’ makeup look. This technique fully satisfies the needs and expectations of the Latin market and those who love Latin-style brows.

Combination (T-zone), Oily Skin: Powder Brows is a special eyebrow shading technique that emphasises the natural contours of the eyebrows. Unlike the PhiBrows microblading treatment, where hairs are drawn, the Powder Brows technique uses many tiny dots to create a soft, powdered look for the eyebrows. Dry and normal skin are also suitable for this technique.

HEALTH & SAFETY/SUMMARY

Every client will need to sign a completed consent and consultation form before the treatment can begin. Not all microblading techniques are suitable for everyone. There are instances where I may be unable to perform a microblading treatment. Existing medical conditions, skin conditions, skin diseases, irritations, and some allergies may make it impossible for me to start your treatment. It is not that I do not want to; far from it! However, I always prioritise my clients’ health and well-being in my decision-making.
